What is a whitelabel app?
First, we will explain what a whitelabel app is, followed by the features you can turn on/off and customize.
Simply put, a white label app is a WeGuide application customized with your branding, logo, and style guide, allowing users to search for and download it from app stores.
Searching for WeGuide in the app stores reveals the original WeGuide application, featuring our logo and managed under our developer account. However, some clients prefer having their own branded health app. This means they will have their unique application in the store with their name and account. When users open this medical app, the color scheme aligns with the client's brand guidelines rather than those of WeGuide.
Below is an example of how a whitelabel app would appear in the App Store. To view the actual listing in the app store, please click here.

What you can do inside your whitelabel app
Here’s an overview of various features you can customize or configure in your own white label application.
Your own apps
By utilizing your own whitelabel application, you will receive a dedicated health app available on both iOS and Android platforms. You will need to choose your app's design; we can assist with creating your application logo and selecting a color scheme. To get started, you'll need to set up developer accounts for Apple and Google—our team will help guide you through this process.
Custom welcome screens
Your whitelabel medical app will feature its unique splash screen and welcome screens that introduce users to what your app offers. Below is an example of these onboarding screens (adding welcome screens enhances user experience).

Custom login & signup flow
You have the flexibility to customize the login & signup flow for users with options such as:
- Turn off signup. This option is useful if you plan to enroll all users via an admin portal without allowing them to create accounts independently.
- Sign up using a referral code. Restrict sign-up access to individuals possessing valid referral codes; without one, they cannot register. This feature helps maintain control over who accesses your medical app.
- Turn off email and SMS notifications. Some clients prefer sending only push notifications instead of emails or SMS messages when participants sign up; communication preferences can be set accordingly.
Multi-language support
WeGuide is primarily deployed in English but supports multiple languages within the application itself. Upon request, multi-language functionality can be activated so that your health app is accessible in various languages. For more details on our multi-language capabilities, refer to our dedicated article.
Branding options
You can specify color palettes, logos, and some imagery within your white-label application. The design ensures that these elements are consistently applied throughout the entire medical app.
Additionally, on the pick platform page, you can link the "Learn more” button to any website—such as yours!
Optional Pincode
You may allow participants to enable a 4 or 6-digit PIN code for added security when accessing their applications. Each time they open the health app, they'll be prompted to enter their PIN code—this code can be reset through an email or SMS notification if forgotten.
Custom imagery
WeGuide incorporates animated imagery within its applications to enhance engagement levels. By default, these images are updated according to your primary color scheme; however, we can replace them with images of your choice if desired. You may submit preferred images or select from sites like LottieFiles. Ensure you have permission for any animations used in your medical app.

Settings customization
Users typically have access to update preferences through settings and join additional programs by default; however, upon request we can disable certain functionalities for simplicity—this approach works well when clients only have one program available without requiring users to join multiple programs.
Wording customization
You will have control over wording for sections such as:
- Goals: Customize how this section is labeled (e.g., Your Care Plan).
- Completed Entries.
- Welcome Letter.
- Tasks for today.
- Your Current Exercise.
- Control visibility regarding upcoming tasks for users.
- Customize hyperlink for "Learn More” button on Pick Platform page.
Splash screen settings
You’ll be able to customize how long the splash screen remains visible within your application. Normally shown only during app loading, this duration can be extended upon request.
Custom page/component
Together with our parent company Curve Tomorrow, we can create custom components for your application. Add these as new pages or integrate into the existing navigation bar. If you’re interested, reach out to your Implementation Manager for discussion.
