In this article, we will explain the two ways a participant or patients can use the WeGuide application or your whitelabel mobile app. The WeGuide application, along with your whitelabel app, is accessible as both a web application and an iOS or Android application.
Participants can access the web application via any modern browser (for supported browsers, see our guidelines). Alternatively, they can download the native applications from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. If you have a white-label mobile app, the URLs provided below may differ; however, you can find the WeGuide app here:
Participants have the flexibility to choose how they want to engage with our software. Typically, it’s their decision to use either the web application or our iOS/Android application. However, as an organization, you can influence their choice. For instance, you might send participants a welcome SMS or email encouraging them to install the native application on their devices. Some clients opt to disable the web application entirely, which is also a viable option.
How Our Application Will Open for Participants
The WeGuide application (or any of our white label applications) will open based on whether the participant has installed the iOS/Android app on their device. If the app is not installed, participants will be directed to the web application. Conversely, if they have installed the app, clicking on links received via email or SMS will automatically launch the iOS/Android app.
If a participant does not have the app installed but is using a compatible device for our iOS or Android applications, we will prompt them within the web application to install it. This enhances their overall experience without being intrusive; thus, our prompts are subtle and non-persistent.
Here are two screenshots illustrating how this prompt appears within the web application:
