How to delete your data from WeGuide

In this article you will learn how to delete your data using the WeGuide app. The process is straightforward and involves accessing the contact section, requesting deletion, and completing a short form.

Step 1: Access the Contact section

• Open the WeGuide app.
• Go to Settings and then select Contact.

Step 2: Request data deletion

• In the Contact section, locate the button to request your data be deleted.
• Click on the button. This action will take you to a contact form.

Step 3: Complete the contact form

• Fill in the form with the required details. The form includes the following fields:
  • I am a Participant using WeGuide – confirms your role.
  • Enter the e-mail or mobile number you use to login (e.g. +61414501833 or john.doe@gmail.com).
  • Select the appropriate value for Type of support.
  • Enter your full name (e.g. John Snow).
  • Provide the name of the organisation for which you are using WeGuide (e.g. Royal Hospital).
  • For security purposes, tick the checkbox to give permission for identity verification. You will be contacted within 5 business days.

Step 4: Submit your request

• After completing the form, click the submit button.
• Your request will then be sent to your organisation, who will process the deletion of your data.
