How to Connect a Garmin Watch to the WeGuide App

Modified on Wed, 6 Aug at 12:31 PM

Here's a step by step guide on connecting your Garmin watch to the WeGuide

  1. Power On the Watch
Turn on your Vivoactive 5 (or compatible Garmin watch).

  2. Enter Pairing Mode

    • If the “Pair with Phone” prompt appears, tap the ✔️ (tick) button.

    • If you skipped that prompt or don’t see it:

      1. Press and hold the lower‑right button.

      2. Go to Settings › System › Connectivity › Phone.

      3. Select Pair Phone to enter pairing mode.

  3. Open WeGuide and Sign In
Launch the WeGuide app and log in with your email or mobile number.

  4. Connect My Garmin Watch
At the top of the WeGuide home screen, tap "Start" under Connect my Garmin Watch. On the next page, tap Connect to Garmin at the bottom.

  5. Enable Permissions
Make sure Bluetooth and Location are turned ON before or during the connection process. This allows your phone to discover nearby Garmin watches.

  6. Automatic Checks
The app will check Internet, Bluetooth, Nearby Devices, and any other required apps or permissions. Once all checks pass, it will proceed to Search Watches.

  7. Select Your Watch
When your Vivoactive 5 appears in the list, tap Select and then Connect.

  8. Enter the Pairing Code
A 4‑ or 6‑digit code will appear on the watch. Enter that code into the pop‑up on your phone and tap Pair.

  9. Wait for Completion
Do not close or minimize the app. The pairing process takes a few minutes. When it finishes, tap Finish Pairing.

Success!
Your watch is now connected to the WeGuide app.
